I was born in Muskogee, Oklahoma and grew up about twelve miles south in Oktaha. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Northeastern State University where I also played tennis and directed university tennis tournaments. After graduating I worked in the Graphic Arts field for fourteen years. I enjoyed working in graphics, however, it was never my true passion. My true passion is simply helping people. I love assisting individuals in achieving their immediate goals while securing a legacy for generations to come. 

Today I am a Senior Agent at Legacy Insurance Advisors. I also assist in marketing and graphic design for the agency. I enjoy working with the public and assisting them in various ways from life and health insurance to asset protection and retirement planning. I currently hold a license in Life/Accident/Health Insurance and I am particularly well-versed in the subjects of Medicare and Social Security.

Amanda is Oklahoma born and raised! Growing up in Tulsa and spending weekends at the lake is what brought her to where she is now.

After attending high school in Tulsa, Amanda attended Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education. That is also where she met her husband, Brian. After college, they moved back to the Tulsa area, where Amanda was an educator for 22 years. While teaching, she received a Masters in English as a Second Language and then a Certificate in School Administration. As her children graduated from high school and moved away to attend college, Amanda decided it was time for a change in career. One where she could still educate, but also where she could be at the lake full time. She now educates people about Medicare. Educating beneficiaries gives them the information they need and then, in turn, empowers them to decide on what is best for them! In 2022, her husband, Brian, joined her as an agent! They now work together in helping people understand their benefits!

Living at the lake is a dream come true for Amanda! She had planned to retire there, but now as an Independent Insurance Broker, it has allowed her obtain her dream earlier than expected!

I’ve lived in Oklahoma since 1973. My family moved to Pryor, OK from LaGrange, MO when I was 10 years old. I lived in Tulsa for 35 years and OKC for the last 5. I graduated from Northeastern State University with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Accounting and the 2nd one in Business Administration. I have devoted the last 10 years of my personal life to a spiritual study that has been fulfilling beyond belief. I was a student, teacher, Director of the OKC branch and the Treasurer of the Board. I've also been a licensed insurance professional with Medicare in the center of it all since 2015.

Most of my work experience has been in Accounting and Finance. However, in 2010 I had to get on Disability and in 2012 I qualified for Medicare of which I immediately got into a penalty situation because I didn’t know what I was doing. I decided then that I would work in this industry in order to help people avoid the situation that I found myself in. In good Divine order I found Legacy Insurance Advisors and OKMedicareHelp.com and immediately loved the company. We want relationships with our clients. We educate, we don’t sell. Once you have participated in an educational meeting from us, you will know more than you ever wanted to know about Medicare! Then, you choose what you want to do. I was born and raised in Tulsa, and married my best friend at 19. We both quickly advanced in our careers and had the amazing opportunity to be moved all around the country training employees for our respective companies. After 15 years in corporate retail management we decided it was time to move back to Oklahoma and start a family. So we began the process of becoming an approved foster home. Shortly after, we were placed with a sibling set of five kiddos, and a year later a newborn. After two long years we finalized adoption of all six. Unfortunately tragedy struck and my wife was diagnosed with cancer in 2019. Through the process of caring for her I was amazed at the lack of knowledge, unknown expenses, and unanswered questions that came with her healthcare. Having spent my entire career teaching people how to make complex processes easy while providing exceptional service to clients I began to find ways to help others navigate the complicated and ever evolving world of Medicare.
My commitment to my clients goes beyond just selling insurance policies. I believe in building long-term relationships, providing ongoing support and guidance as your healthcare needs evolve.

In my spare time, I can often be found spending time with my wife, our 9 children, enjoying the outdoors, and grilling/ smoking meats. I’m also an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

I also volunteer in multiple roles with my church as well as an international men’s ministry started by my pastor designed to help men be the wall for their families they were created to be.

I spent 15 years in the banking industry where I was Vice President in Commercial Lending. I spent 10 years heading up the Investigation Section for the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Resolution Trust Corporation in Oklahoma, Texas and Missouri. The following 10 years prior to joining Legacy were spent in the sales industry.

I have been married to my wife Charlotte, who is also an agent for Legacy, for 48 years and have two sons and eight grandchildren. My youngest son Jason owns Legacy and specilizes in wealth management. My oldes son Travis is also an agent at Legacy. My hobbies include pickleball, golf, fishing and shooting sports.

Since joining the Legacy Team in 2008, I have specialized in marketing, educating and selling a wide range of products desined to meet my clients ever changing needs. Originally from Kansas, Toni studied Performing Arts at Oklahoma City University. She later moved to Dallas after “Making the Team” for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and cheered for two seasons for the Dallas Cowboys from 1989 – 1991. During this time, she was also chosen as a 1st Group Leader, and was one of 12 girls on the elite Show Group who traveled the world on behalf of the USO and DOD while entertaining our Troops abroad.

Tulsa is now home to Toni and her husband, Mark. Together they have three daughters, two bird dogs, and one Basset Hound. Toni is a member of TAHU (Tulsa Association of Health Underwriters), which is a local chapter of the National Association of Health Underwriters (NAHU).
